IS PRIVATE TRAINING AVAILABLE?
Yes again! Private training is available please Click Here to view the details.
HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN EACH CLASS?
Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students. Classes are not just theory and demonstration, these are hands-on classes. Each student needs the opportunity to practice their newly acquired techniques in a controlled environment to solidify them in their mind. Keeping the class size small let's every student receive individualized attention. It a class of more than 8 your odds of receiving quality personalized attention are greatly diminished.
IS PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED?
Since class size is limited the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting a spot. Advanced payment is the only way to guarantee your seat. Therefore it is not advisable to just "show up" on the day of class expecting there to be availability.
WILL I GET A CERTIFICATE?
YES! Students who complete the full day of hands-on training will leave with their certificate in hand. Please note, certification is not issued for the online training classes.
ARE MODELS REQUIRED?
Yes. For the Brilliant Brows class, students work on each other for the hands-on portion of the class so bringing a model is optional. Please note; outside models are not allowed into the class until the hands-on portion.
For the Brilliant Brazilians class, students can either (a) bring a model to share with the class or (b) be a model. All models must have at least 1/4" hair growth and cannot be taking Accutane or undergoing Chemo or Radiation therapies. Please note; outside models are not allowed into the class until the hands-on portion.
WILL I GET TO DO A FULL BRAZILIAN IN CLASS?
Due to the length of the class and the amount of time it takes to do a Brazilian in an instructional environment, this would be an unrealistic expectation. Each student will have the opportunity to do a portion of a Brazilian, but not an entire Brazilian on their own. This gives you the opportunity to learn by both doing and observing your fellow classmates. You will receive "real time" critiquing on your technique allowing you to immediately begin to refine your skills and work to correct any bad habits. Private training is the only way to guarantee that you will do a full Brazilian on your own.
For private one on one training please contact Crickett at crickett@missmollyb.net
ARE MEN ALLOWED TO ATTEND YOUR CLASSES?
YES! As long as they are Licensed or Certified professionals. We realize that this business is changing and we are seeing more men joining the force. So don't be shy, come on in.
HOW ARE YOUR CLASSES DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS?
In our travels, we have found that most classes for eyebrow design and Brazilian waxing are either demo only OR their class size is too large to allow for proper hands-on training and attention. As hands-on is an important part of learning these specialized services, we limit our class size to a maximum of 8 students to allow you the best possible learning experience. We don't just lecture and demonstrate. First, we tell you how to do it, then we show you how to do it, then we supervise you as you do it. We help you to recognize both your strengths and weaknesses so that you can begin to feel competent and confident in performing these often intimidating services.
DO YOU "DOUBLE-DIP" IN YOUR CLASSES?
NO! We practice and instruct in what we feel are the highest sanitation guidelines. This is a hot topic and everyone has their own opinion. This is ours. So no matter how you practice in your own room, in these classes, everyone will practice with gloves and without double-dipping.
WHAT WAX DO YOU USE ?
We are always testing waxes, so what we use may change from class to class. We like to provide a variety for our students, so we always have at least one soft wax and one hard wax in every hands-on class. Right now our favorites are, Berins (blue & ease), Epillyss (Millenia) and Cirepil (Blue & Crystalline). We recommend Smooth Skin Supply as they carry a great selection and have excellent customer service. ssmoothskinsupply.com
I'VE NEVER DONE AN EYEBROW DESIGN / BRAZILIAN BEFORE. WILL THESE CLASSES PREPARE ME TO BEGIN PERFORMING THESE SERVICES RIGHT AWAY...ON CLIENTS?
Anyone that promises perfection after one class is not being up front about the "learning curve" that comes with these services. These classes are meant to provide you with the knowledge, techniques, guidance and tools you need to execute these services with confidence. Practice is the key to perfecting any new skill. How much practice will vary from person to person. Rome wasn't built in a day.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE LICENSED TO ATTEND THE TRAINING?
Classes are for professionals only and are open to current Licensees and students of cosmetology and Aesthetics, as well as certified Laser Tech's, Waxing Specialists, Makeup Artists, Permanent Makeup Tech's and Electrologysts. Proof of License/certification or current enrollment in school is required.
DO STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOOL CREDIT FOR ATTENDING TRAINING?
This is an excellent question. Some schools do recognize advanced training and will apply it toward your required hours. Some even count being a waxing model in class toward your required hours. Each school is different, so check with yours to see what they will allow.
DOES THE BRAZILIAN CLASS INCLUDE DESIGNS AND DYING?
Our focus is to teach you to perform the standard or "classic" Brazilian with maximum confidence. Though designs and color can be fun additions to this service, they are not your "bread and butter". The mind can only retain so much information in a 7-8 hour period and we prefer to devote that time teach you the skills that will increase both your confidence and your revenue.
